Yeah, you heard it right. EVIL SISTER. BabySisMai started calling me that just as soon as I step into the house at about 1 p.m. today. She then started to asked me what I got for CutieNaqib(it’s his 15th Bday today!) to which I reply: Adela. Little girls cannot see it. She gave me her pouty-face look. Wahahaha!(EVIL laugh)

Pn. Rashidah briefed us about our INDUSTRIAL TRAINING for next semester last Monday. Needless to say, I’m not so keen on going out to venture the world without my lecturers. Yes, I’m CLING-y. So what?? The again, I do want to graduate in time. *Sigh* I’m off to finish my resume tomorrow. *Wonder what I should put in* Thank God, I already have a few places in mind.

Had a test during SenseiAzmir’s class yesterday. As always, test and quizes in his class are never like other test and quizes. He actually HELPS us during the test i.e giving out formulas or deciphering the question for us. When he does that, it annoys me at times. I mean, what’s the point of doing the test right? I know he means well but…
Speaking of test, we got some of our test1 papers back. Brace yourself. I actually got a 54% for Intro to Actuarial Math! Yes, I did not fail. Yes, I’m surprised for getting that mark. And NO, I’m not dissapointed. I would never thought that I passed that test. *Chuckles* We also got back our Statistical Math papers back. Yes, I did not fail. Yes, I’m surprised for getting that mark. And YES, I’m dissapointed by it. I mean, how can I get a 75% for my stats paper? Stats is like one of my best subjects. ORO!!! I feel so stupid making all those careless mistakes. Temee betul.

Did I blog about the Fairyland&Candy Fantasy dinner a.k.a The Actuarial Science Club semiannual dinner? Anyways, it was better than the previous semester was. I didn’t get to wear the sarong-like wrap because non of my tops matched. Even my CONSULTANT a.k.a MissB was at her wits end. BooHoo. Ended up wearing a Kebaya Pahang. Nevertheless, SenseiAzizah did mention that I look CUTE *blushing and getting all kembang*. B did my eyes and I absolutely love it. All she did was putting eyeliner on my lids but I did and still loving it. Mental note: Ask B on how to put on eyeliner without poking eye in the process. Sat at the same table with Nazchan, Ira, Wanie and Baya’s friends. Only a few of our seniors came. Mr. President came with Fira(at least that’s what I think her name is).

[At the buffet line(Me - Fira - Mr. President)]
*Accidently glanced at Mr President while waiting for my turn for the lasagne*
Mr.President: This is Fira *pointing at Fira*
Me: Tak dengar! *distracted by the MC, who was announcing something*
Mr.President: This is Fira *gesturing with his head*
Me: *distacted by the lasagne* Ape benda tu? *looking dumbfounded at him*
*Fira was practically laughing by that time*
Mr.President: *looking annoyed* Ish budak ni. Dengar sini baik-baik. I want you to meet Fira. This is Fira. *standing by Fira. Pointing towards Fira*
Me: Owh… *turning to Fira* Hi! (in head: kan senang kalau intoduce elok-elok dari tadi)
Fira: *giggling* Hi! What’s your name again?
Me: It’s Nadia
Fira: Okay *giving me a big smile and gesturing at the lasagne*
[Finally I can claim the yummylicious lasagne]

Lupa nak tanya Mr. President. When he was introducing Fira, who was he introducing her as i.e sister, cousin, friend, date, girlfriend or wife(???)? Didn’t eat much too. I’m still wondering why I didn’t get seconds. My appetite was really peculiar that night. Still, I get to taste everything; moderation is the key but being the Garfield that I am, I stock up on the lasagne(LOL). The entertainment was terrific. I just love the bands. Hamid’s band played four songs(3 songs that I don’t remember the title but able to sing along to and the their own song). I was crushing on the drummer the whole performance*cheeky smile*. Didn’t get the lucky draw(as always). BooHoo to me. Yang was right. There were a LOT of my pictures during the Celik Aktuari II slideshow. I was mortified enough to hide under the table. The dinner was great but don’t have any photos of it. Forgot to buy batteries for my camera. Shoot!

Speaking of dinner, I’m going to Melati’s Malam Pra Graduan(MPG). It’s on the 1st of October at Summit Hotel, Subang. Theme: Purple, Yellow & White. Gotto go through my wardrobe yet again. *Sigh* B, I need HELP!!!

The Good: *Drumroll* I passed my driving test! *dancing around the room*
The Bad: I can’t take the Kembara to campus. Chet!

Yea well, as much as I wan’t to, I don’t dare to drive all the way from KL to Shah Alam all by myself. Scary la wei. Plus, I’m not THAT good… yet.
***The Good: I went to the Actuarial Night dinner last night. Yummy food. Awesome bands.
The Bad: I didn’t actually want to go. I didn’t have much appetite(except for the lasagnea *burps*). The bands were to loud.

I know, I know. I did say I won’t go but, Yang gave me her big puppy-eyes face. Damn! Plus, she sent me nice SMSes just to pujuk me into going to the dinner. Thank God it was better than last semester.
***The Good: I talked to Him online the other day *swoon*
The Bad: He didn’t come for dinner. Double chet!

Heheheheheh… Siapa agaknyer kan? That’s for me to know and for you guys not to find out.
***The Good: For the last time(ye ker?), Celik Aktuari II was a success! Yay to all of us!!!
The Bad: Mr. Transportation is being an annoying ass about it.

Yeah… everybody is mad at him. Who wouldn’t? So sakit hati after reading his blog. Temee betul.

***
The Good: Danish is in KL. Time to bully him… Hehehehe
The Bad: He’ll keep on pestering about getting back together again.

Can’t we just be friends? Because, as of right now, I’m not ready for a relationship.
***
The Good: My 20th B’day is next week. Yay for cake!
The Bad: I wanna be a teenager *sob sob*

Nads’ friends: What to give to Nads eh? *pondering endlessly*
Even though the thoughts are all that matter, you can always get me any of these:
  • Be Delicious by DKNY (my Tommy Girl has evaporated itself)
  • Emily the Strange items (I’m loving the characters)
  • A new mug (my old one pecah)
  • A throw pillow big enough for me to sit on (to avoid my butt from sleeping during long study sessions)

When were at Pantai Lanjut, Rompin, there was a magnificent play of beauty. Its backdrop was the dark sky and the actors were the stars. The play also featured a shy crescent moon. Sadly enough, only few of us knew how to appreciate the rare scenes. We watched the play after the BBQ dinner (which was scrumptious, just to say the least) on the dark beach. There were few known constellations (at least we think so ;p) could be seen and some that we made up. After an hour, some of the girls went back to the chalet to get some shut eye, while some went strolling along the shore. Me, Bal, Ira and Azwa stayed to watch the display.

With our backs on the sand, we had a real clear view of the sky. They were so excited when they see a star shooting above us. They pointed out stars that form shapes. Just like little children, they were. Me? I was just blissful seeing the stars shining as bright as they were the last time I stretched out on the ground, looking at the horizon. It’s been a long time since I went star gazing. The last time I appreciated God’s magic was in Form 3, when I was left alone on top of the hill for the Burung Hantu or some other sort of activity.

I felt somehow relaxed, just staring. I think I was meditating without realizing it (is that possible? lol). I wasn’t thinking about anything else, just the sense of my being. I realized that I was small compared to what has been created. I started asking; What will happen in the next few years? When I was going to die? What have I achieved if I were to die the next day? I cried thinking of the uncertainties. I cried thinking of my responsibilities. I was feeling a bit spiritual that night. In between my spiritual thoughts, I said a prayer to God and ask him for a wish. FYI, I neither got my answers that night nor did my wish come true.

The next day I woke up surprisingly early. I mean, 5.30 A.M IS early, even for me. I did my morning business (I don’t think I need to elaborate what I did) and then went down the beach to watch the sunrise. Alone, mind you. Still, no answer and no wish granted. What did I expect? For the Prophet to come down and enlighten me with the answers? Silly, silly me.

So, still answer-less and wish-less, I concluded that I’ve to get on leading my life. Disappointed, yes. Faithless, no. Why? Because I believe that God is cheerleading for me, every time I’m doing something good. And for me, that’s all that matters. Well, at least for now.

It’s been a while since I visited the WWW. Somehow, it’s liberating. Well… at least to a certain level. I do get cravings to check my mail and my friendster account. BooHoo to me. The club kept me occupied the past couple of weeks. If it’s not the club, it’s the quizes and test.

Speaking of which, I think I flunk my ASC305(Intro to Actuarial Math) Test1. I’m not worried about the result. I’m actually looking forward to see how badly I did. *Excitedly waiting for Pn Azizah to finish marking the papers*

Here’s a couple of highlights of the past two weeks I’m away from the WWW:

48th Hari Merdeka(31st Aug)
Didn’t do much really since there was a test due the next day(which I think I did very well). Went to UiTM stadium for the countdown. It was hot(duh!), crowded(double duh!) and interesting(huh?! Did type that right?). Aishah performed a few songs(which amazingly I recognised and memorised). There was a band (Sharp 11, I think) from the performing arts faculty too. The pantomime by the PALAPES was rather funny and good. It got me to shed a few tears. Wanted to get more photo of the pantomime but everything turned out bad.

We went shopping for a few things for the trip to Rompin. I spent about RM80 in half a day. Unbelievable. I haven’t done that in a while.

Celik Aktuari II(2nd – 5th Sept)
After the complications we had gone through, the program had it’s green light to be executed. Only one problem, the bus didn’t came. Seems that there were a few miscommunication with the Unit Kenderaan authorities. We ended up departing from campus at 10.30 p.m. What a bummer. Didn’t have much sleep in the bus either. Thank god the program went on smoothly.

After that we went to the Pesta Pantai Rompin the next day. Not much exiciting things there. Maybe because we weren’t in the events. We just went there to have lunch and took some pictures.

*Image has been deleted due to Naz-chan request. Too bad to those yang tak sempat tengok. Hehehehehe*

I also learned that if I leave my camera with Abang, pictures like these tend to show up;

There’s so much to blog about but really, I can’t recall them all at once. I’ll have headache if I do. So maybe I’ll update later. Hopefully with pictures. Toodles!
